APPLE CAKE

This Apple Cake recipe has been a part of my family since I was little. I am so grateful to my Grams for teaching me this recipe. Oh, man, you need to give this one a try, I’m telling you! Ingredients:

1 cup vegetable oil

1-3/4 cups sugar

3 Eggs

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

4 large apples, chopped

1/2 cup nuts, chopped



 

Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, and oil. Beat until well mixed.


2. In another mixing bowl, add cinnamon, flour, salt, and soda. Stir until well mixed.


3. Transfer the flour mixture into the bowl with the eggs and stir until well mixed.


4. Add the apples, nuts, and vanilla. Stir until well mixed.


5. Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan and sprinkle flour.


6. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.


7. Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.


8. Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.


9. Remove the cake from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool completely.


10. Serve and enjoy!
