Balsamic Soy Roasted Garlic Mushrooms



If possible, choose mushrooms of more or less the same size for even cooking. Otherwise, cut the larger ones in 2 or 4. The mushrooms always melt a lot after cooking, depending on your appetite, do not hesitate to increase the quantities if you serve them as the only accompaniment...

For 2 people, you will need:

°500 g button mushrooms
°1 C. s of olive oil
°1 ½ tsp. balsamic vinegar
°1 ½ tsp. s soy sauce (or tamari)
°2 cloves garlic
°1 sprig of thyme
°Small reminder, 1 tbsp. tablespoons = 15 ml

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Clean (or peel) the mushrooms and cut off the earthy end.

In a large salad bowl, mix the olive oil, the chopped garlic cloves, the balsamic vinegar, the soy sauce and the sprig of thyme leaves.


Add the mushrooms and toss to coat them well with the sauce.

Spread the mushrooms in a large dish, or on a baking sheet in a single layer.


Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times during cooking.

The mushrooms should be tender and the sauce a bit syrupy.


Add some thyme leaves and taste.
