Steak and Potatoes Skillet


°steaks restaurant (butcher) 4
°hash browns (frozen) 600 g
°mushrooms 500g
°chicory 500 g
°onions 1
°garlic 1 slivers
°olive oil 1 tbsp. soup
°salt and pepper

- Cut the small mushrooms into 4 and the larger ones into 6.
- Remove the hard core from the chicory. Slice these in 2, then in pieces of ± 2 cm.
- Cut the onion in half, then in half moons.
- Squeeze the garlic.

1 Melt 2 rounds of herb butter from the steak package in a saucepan. Sauté the garlic and onion for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and chicory, and continue cooking for 7 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

2 Melt the other 2 slices of butter in a frying pan and sear the steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Continue cooking according to your preferences. Reserve the meat out of the pan and deglaze with 2 dl of water. Reduce until the sauce thickens.

3 Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan and brown the potatoes for 8 min.
