Better Than Anything Cake



*Ingredients

+For the dough
°1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
°3/4 cup melted butter
°1 cup finely chopped pecans
+For the first layer
°1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese – room temperature
°1 cup icing sugar
°1 container (8-12 oz) Cool Whip (divided) – 1 cup for this layer and the remainder for topping.
+For the second layer
°1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding
°1 pack (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding
°3 cups whole milk (using whole milk creates a stronger pudding which is needed)
+For the top
Remaining Cool Whip
Grated/shaved chocolate sprinkled on top

Crust layer
Preheat the oven to 325°F
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, butter and pecans and press into the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes. Removing from the oven also let cool totally.

 
First layer
In large bowl, combine cream cheese, icing sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip with blender.
Spreading cream cheese mix over crust.
Before proceeding to the next step, the crust and the first layer must be well cooled and firmed. Placing baking dish in freezer for 20 minutes.
second layer
For the second layer, whisk both puddings and milk in a large bowl. Blend according to pack directions.
Removing pan from freezer also spreading pudding layer on cream cheese layer.
Return to the freezer for another 20 minutes to firm up again.

 
top layer
Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with shredded/grated chocolate.
If you have time, letting dessert chill in refrigerator about at least 2 h.
Remarks
• This dessert requires time to chill in the refrigerator, so be sure to plan ahead and be as prepared as possible.
• This dessert can be prepare up to 2 day in advance. Wrap in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator.
• If you have leftovers, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and store in the fridge for up to four days.
• Cool Whip is generally available in 8 oz. or 12 oz. containers. You will need amount in 12 oz. containing enough in the other sizes to meet this need.

 
• Layering the dessert: It is very important to cool each layer before adding the next. It gets a bit tricky if you don't!
