Chocolate Cobbler


°1 tsp flour
°2 teaspoons baking powder
°1/2 teaspoon of salt
°2/3 sugar
°1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa
°2 tablespoons melted butter
°1/2 cup of milk
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
°1/4 cup sugar
°1/2 cup brown sugar
°1/4 tsp salt
°1 tablespoon of cocoa
°1 tsp boiling water


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In  mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar & cocoa. Then add the melted butter, milk and vanilla.
Spread the mixture in a greased 1.5 quart pan (or square pan). Put aside.

In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients for the filling (sugar, brown sugar, salt and cocoa). Sprinkling on top of batter; do not stirring.
Pour boiling water over it; do not stir.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until top of cake is almost set. The cake will rise to the top and a pudding will form at the bottom.
Serve hot with ice.
