Scalloped Potatoes




*Ingredients :

°4 cups thinly ​​potatoes sliced
°3 t of butter
°3 t of flour
°1 1⁄2 c milk
°1 t salt
°1 dash cayenne pepper
°1 c grated sharp cheese
°1⁄2 cup shredded cheese, to sprinkle on top

*Directions :

In  saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour.
Let rest for a minute.
Adding all the cold milk, stir with a whisk.
Season with salt and cayenne pepper.
Cook sauce over low heat until smooth and boiling, stirring occasionally with a whisk.
Reduce heat and stirring in cheese.
Place half of the sliced ​​potatoes in a lightly greased quart pan.
Pour half sauce cheese on potatoes.
Repeat with the second layer of potatoes and cheese sauce.
Sprinkling rest cheese on top.
Garnish with a little paprika for color.
Bake uncovered for about 1 hour at 350°F
